Good for you, girl!! Happy Birthday 🧁❤️ I’ve had a hella hard time not being able to attend my meetings the past 17 months because of the pandemic so the fact that there is a community here all supporting each other and celebrating each other’s wins is a nice way to overcome that stress and still have our fellowship. Proud of you, stranger, keep up the great work!!

If you don’t mind me asking how did you do it from day one? I have been trying seriously for a couple months and I just keep failing. I’m 43 and have been a drunk for 20 years. Been to rehab twice. I was a functioning alcoholic with a great job. Since COVID and lost my job I’ve been just drinking from when I wake up till I go to bed.

My grandfather was smoking cigarettes and drinking alcohol all of the time. When the doctor told him to stop because his heart was at danger, he stopped immediately, after 40 years of cigarettes and alcohol consumption. If there is will, there is also a way.
