Do people think that all shows need to or can run forever? I know every show has a fan base, but if enough people aren’t watching maybe it wasn’t that good to begin with?

Like from what I heard, not as many people watched S02 as S01, and some fans were disappointed with the season as well.
I was similarly disappointed when Paramount+ cancelled Joe Pickett, but also recognized that barely anybody else was watching that show lol
