The irony is Leni stans have been using drug insults against BBM (e.g. “adik sayo, Leni sa amin”, “cocaine boy”, and “boy ngiwi”) when the sole source for this rumor is fucking Duterte.
Nikki Coseteng did say the same thing… but that was 1) way after Duterte mentioned it, 2) she was doing an interview throwing her support for Leni-Kiko, 3) and it’s really nothing more than “TrUsT mE bRo”.
Dude, bbm being a druggie was a well-established rumor even before duterte brought it up. I had friends who talk about it because they were in parties where bbm was also present.
Eh, that’s what people say. They also say that JLC and Shaina went to a hospital to have his dick pulled out and Piolo Pascual is gay. It’s all hearsay. In a way, Duterte’s fentanyl addiction is just as unreliable because the only source is him.
That said, this is maybe just the utilitarian in me speaking. I don’t think being into drugs diminishes my view of a person, regardless if it conflicts with my own moral base (being straight edge and all). Illegal yes, but so is piracy.
The point is that it’s not a rumor that sprung out of nowhere, nor is duterte the only source. I do acknowledge, however, that it became popular because he talked about it.
The irony is that the whole “Marcos is a drug addict” thing is satire on how DDS et.al. will blindly believe to any of Duterte’s trust-me-bro’s but suddenly made an exception to Marcos because…Marcos.
