What’s a fact that’s real, but sounds completely fake?

I worked at the seafood counter at a grocery store for a while and a few people asked me what we had for fresh frozen fish and I’d just stare blankly at them until they realized that those are mutually exclusive

I mean I prefer my frozen fish to have been fresh when frozen as opposed to left out for a few weeks before being frozen.

Our entire batch of chickens delivered 2 days ago are bad. Over a dozen boxes of full sized chickens.

But that usually doesn't happen due to the nature of the process that frozen fish goes through

A lot are frozen at sea but that doesn’t make it fresh frozen like what are your other options rotten frozen?

To be honest there is kind of a difference. I'm not familiar with fish specifically, but with shrimp you get "individually quick frozen" or not. The IQF ones are frozen right after catching while presumably other methods are kept on ice in a pile until returned home for processing

When I first started watching the show, I was under the impression they were going full r/boneappletea by using that term instead of flash frozen

It doesn’t mean a lot in many forms. Still tasty shows that. That’s why a lot of things say “best by, etc.
