If we could set up a Truman Show scenario where Trump thinks he’s President again and the public send in scenarios for him to deal with, what would you suggest?

It’s not really that complicated. He thinks it’s their favorite food because it’s his favorite food. He only sees the world through his own perspective. He lacks empathy as a narcissist.

Related: Are there pictures of Trump ever eating anything healthy? Hell, the only time I ever saw him NEAR anything healthy was that fucked up Goya beans business and those cans were closed.

His doctor actually said that they had to sneak vegetables into his mashed potatoes to get him to eat any.

Potatoes are vegetables, though.

(I know, they probably were sneaking healthier vegetables in there.)

They are botanically, yes, and they are healthy, but health authorities don't really consider them one because they're mainly starch and eaten in place of something like rice or pasta.

I make a veggie mash with one third potatoes, one third turnips, and one third cauliflower. My kids love it, and it's delicious.

That's the point, it's the sort of thing you have to do to get kids to eat veggies, not the President of the United States.

Can you picture Trump snacking on carrot sticks and houmous? It makes me wonder if he has an eating disorder.

Never. It's a running joke that republican officials eat like shit and have zero taste. First one that comes to mind is the Michael Caputo lobster tweet. It's kind of amazing how disgusting they made lobster look hahaha

Edit: another classic that's not mentioned much, they were serving UNCOOKED stuffed peppers on Air Force One, with a face carved in it. No idea at all what is in the top left. https://twitter.com/MichLKosinski/status/1188843900280160256?s=19

I'm not a lobster expert but I'd send that back. It looks rotten.

Edit: I'm reminded of the comic book Get Jiro. It's a weird future dystopian story but by god, they respect food. Even the fascists. One guy got -un- mugged because the crooks found he had a reservation for a nice restaurant.

To be fair Get Jiro was written by Anthony Bourdain.

Also canned beans are not, like, particularly healthy. More so than prepared foods and definitely fast food. But in terms of raw ingredients, canned will always have way more sodium and other added crap and be less nutrient dense. Canned is basically decently healthy when convenience is the main factor (budget, shelf life, etc).

Theres very little trump could do that would surprise me anymore, but seeing proof of him consuming a fresh vegetable is one of the least likely things I can imagine.

Imagine if he were a contestant on fear factor and they tried making him eat asparagus. He’d bail or his body would reject it.

The extra salt is just for preservation - rinsing the beans gets rid of a lot of the added sodium. Also, even though they're technically less nutrient-dense than fresh or frozen cooked beans, they still have almost the same level of nutrients and more than enough for adequate nutrition.
