Mississippi! In just about every metric you can imagine the state is at or near the bottom. And the sad part is they seem to okay with it.

I think a lot of people probably arent ok with it they just have almost no means to get out. And a lot of the people that are ok with it probably wouldnt be if they had access to proper education and opportunity.

It's like Arkansas. It's so fucking poverty-stricken that it's really hard to get out. It's like being born in the bottom of a greased pit. You have to struggle to escape. Not only that, but people are brainwashed to think "it's not any better anywhere else," and they look down on people who leave like they've betrayed everyone else. It's a poverty mentality.
