The taxes aren't even bad. It's a myth. California has one of the most progressive tax structures in the nation.

You likely misunderstand what a progressive tax is. You are likely just associating progressive with bad due to some conservative conditioning.

No, I’m just saying that California’s implementation of a progressive tax has driven up taxes for pretty much everyone staying in Cali full time(seeing as you have to make an ungodly amount of money annually to afford to live in the most populous areas with the best job opportunities). Thus, the progressive tax is just an insane tax hike that makes it even harder to afford the already asinine cost of living

The poor in California pay a smaller percentage of their incomes to the state than nearly any other state though.

Hell I pay less in California than I did in Michigan even with a higher wage.

Actually, if you're rich, you're getting taxed a shit ton. If you're poor, you're not getting taxed a lot. If you're middle class, you're taxed competitively like other states.

But everything's here expensive yo. But the weather is nice.
