LOL, you are very close. I am next door in Ascension Parish. When I first moved here I did live in the French Settlement / Head of Island area by the Moonlight Inn for close to a year. That area was/is racist central and still not as bad as the 99.999999% area of Illinois I moved from.

I moved from Livingston Parish to DuPage County about 17 years ago...sill go down there about once a year but I've noticed the trips are much shorter as time goes by. Nothing changes down there and it makes me sad.

I am from well south of there. I was born in Mattoon and grew up in Shelby County about 30 miles south of Decatur.
