Never on time. I get it, life happens. We all have our days. But would it not be simpler to leave early one time instead of making excuses for literally hundreds? Just one time.
Worked with a guy who was always 15 minutes late. We changed his schedule from 8 to 8:15. Like clockwork, 8:30 is when he walked through the door. I'll give you one guess who complained the loudest if their replacement showed up a minute late.
This is the worst. By being late, you are saying my time is more important than anyone else's.
I have now gotten to the point, if someone is late, I simply proceed without them. Dinner, movie, going somewhere, doesn't matter, I simply go ahead.
I have left my wife at the house to go meet friends, yes she gets mad, but the instances of her being late have decreased dramatically. Do the same for everyone. My time is just as important as anyone.
