My mom always buys the kids in our family lotto tickets when they turn 18. Granted - it's usually accompanied by an actual gift or gift cards, and she doesn't scratch them off.
She likes to do it because she doesn't condone smoking, and it's something you can only buy if you're 18. My moms a weirdo but at least she isn't an asshole.
