What is a super popular TV show or movie that you can’t stand?

Australian here. The Block, Big Brother, Married at First Sight... Ah fuck it. All of it. It's all shit.

I'm going to the pub.

EDIT: For all those telling me that I can't go to the pub: I can. I'm in regional Victoria, and they're open?

But I'm not going. The publican is a cunt.

Thanks for the advice though, you fucking wombats.

P. S. Thanks for the awards. I don't know what they mean, but I reckon I could have a beer with you cunts.

I've started watching Stingers (undercover police show that ran from the late 90s to mid 2000s). Not revolutionary, but it reminds me of a time when we actually made dramas.

u/anie-c 27d ago

Loved Stingers and Water Rats.

20

u/mydadpickshisnose 27d ago

Blue Heelers?

14

u/ThisIsNoBridgetJones 27d ago

Blue Heelers!

9

u/forty-seven-ways 27d ago

Water Rats was the best

3

u/Theamuse_Ourania 27d ago

I remember watching and loving Rescue 911 with William Shatner as the host when I was little. My grandmother had such a crush on him and we'd watch it together all the time.

2

u/bootnab 27d ago

Terriers! Oft overlooked

3

u/stonemite 27d ago

Terriers was great for that single season, but the topic was Australian cop shows.

2

u/bootnab 27d ago

Doh. My mistake

2

u/stonemite 26d ago

To be fair, the fact that Terriers got cancelled after 1 season is a tragedy. Thoroughly enjoyable show that I wish more people knew about.

1

u/Oooooharder 27d ago

Didn't stingers have a lot of sex?

22

u/covid9099 27d ago

I am going to go waaaay back, but my first intro to great Aussie drama was Police Rescue. I would love to re-watch that show.

16

u/p_m_a_t_t 27d ago

Gary Sweet! I remember watching police rescue; no misadventure that couldn't be fixed by abseiling.

8

u/covid9099 27d ago

Ha! I forgot about all the abseiling. Such an aussie hero.

3

u/Beginning_Logic_is 27d ago

They have that and Water Rats on Amazon Prime here in the UK. I put in on for nostalgia and was not disappointed. Quality show

2

u/Readsdeadtrees 27d ago

*screams incoherantly* Water Rats is on Prime in Canada too! I'm so excited.

12

u/Aardvark_Man 27d ago

I feel like the writers strike hit Australia worse than elsewhere.
It was when people realised they could make reality shows relatively cheap, but when they had writers back it wasn't beneficial for Australia.

Most of the Australian content is because the free to air channels are obligated to show a certain amount of Australian made shows. But there's little to no interest in Australian shows outside of Australia, so why waste time and money on making a good script etc when you're not going to be able to sell it on anyway, and you can churn out reality TV heaps cheaper?

Obviously other places have these shows too, but there's no reason to make anything else in Australia.

29

u/Winterlands 27d ago

Reminds me of Blue Heelers

13

u/MyChipmunkFace 27d ago

Who had a higher crime rate, Mt Thomas or Midsomer?

3

u/adalyncarbondale 27d ago

What was the one Rescue Ops or something? That was great!

4

u/AussieNick1999 27d ago

Not quite. These were plain clothes cops assuming false identities in order to infiltrate the criminal underworld. It ran from '98 to '04.

1

u/adalyncarbondale 24d ago

I was just referencing a different show that I thought was good

3

u/splitconsiderations 27d ago

We can still make a pretty solid dramady. Check out Rake. Cheeky cunt works as a QC.

3

u/1Duggthedogg 27d ago

They were the days you could watch telly, mate. FTA telly is fucked. ABC, AND SBS is still watchable sometimes. Good dramas and movies.

I remember Stingers. I'm old.

1

u/dwimbygwimbo 27d ago

Ooh, where are you watching that?

1

u/AussieNick1999 27d ago

Channel Nine has it on their streaming service, 9Now.

I've noticed a lot of old Aussie dramas ending up on those streaming services. Both All Saints and Blue Heelers are on 7plus

-2

u/chirpies33 27d ago

If you want to really laugh, go back and watch blue heelers and water rats now. In the ‘me too’ era, PJ Hasham would (quite rightly) get burned at the stake for the sexual harassment of Maggie Doyle. His antics did not age well - but it is absolutely hilarious to watch.

19

u/yaxkongisking12 27d ago

I swear that nobody in Australia under 40 even watches TV anymore, and if they do, it's usually streaming either American or British shows.

4

u/MoreThenYouThought 27d ago

I am 21 only watch YouTube, Netflix and Britbox then sport on Kayo don't see the need for FTA

54

u/Mckavvers 27d ago

The only way i can watch MAFS is via FriendlyJordies

5

u/PaleJewel720 27d ago

Oops I commented the same thing and had to delete my comment when I saw yours. That's the best way and only way one should enjoy MAFS.

2

u/Mckavvers 27d ago

once i fell down a YT rabbit hole of watching MAFS highlights. It was like a train wreck i couldn't stop looking at. Though it does show that women can be just as nasty and abusive as men.

3

u/PragmaticIdealism 27d ago

Add FriendlyJordies to the list while we’re at it.

1

u/Mckavvers 27d ago

I don't really watch his political stuff, maybe a few vids now and then. Mostly stick to his commentary stuff.

2

u/crazyabootmycollies 27d ago

Love his work, but goodness hate that he’s arguably one of Australia’s top independent investigative journalists.

9

u/GarbageChute 27d ago

Once he started associating with that dickhead, right wing reactionary grifter Isaac Butterfield I can't really stomach him anymore. You can tell a lot about a man by the company they keep and all that

4

u/jojoblogs 27d ago

There’s certainly an overlap in humour. I just hope some of Jordies politics rubs off on and stray Butterfield viewers that end up on his channel.

97

u/Hoppinginpuddles 27d ago

The block is literally just the contestants painting walls and complaining about the weather.

21

u/office_ghost 27d ago

In the New Zealand version they keep making them stop renovating in order to participate in jarringly unrelated competitions, like, they have to build a kite and see whose kite flies the highest. It's bizarre. Does the Australian Block do that?

18

u/shadylikeatree 27d ago

Yep, same thing here. And then they have to incorporate that object into the room they're renovating that week

16

u/office_ghost 27d ago

"This second bedroom includes a feature kite."

14

u/WoodenMango07 27d ago

lol so true. Its basically all the hired trades in the background that does 95 percent of the work, while the contestants are crying in a sponsored shop

8

u/HIV_P0SITIVE 27d ago

And Scott Cam being a fuckhead sellout POS.

3

u/CataKilla 27d ago

Him tryna create drama every single episode really pisses me off

2

u/Assorted-Interests 27d ago

The way you described that I’m imagining it as a wonderfully British comedy show now. Something along the lines of Detectorists.

2

u/Treuzelaar 27d ago

Here in The Netherlands the Australian and New Zealand versions of the block are more popular than the Dutch version. If you think the Australian version is crap, imagine how crap the Dutch version is.

1

u/mr_ckean 27d ago

A created dramas between the product placements

1

u/Quick_Doubt_5484 27d ago

That shit still on? I left 5 years ago and it had already outstayed its welcome

14

u/DiamondUnicorn 27d ago

MAFS is weirdly addictive. I’m not saying I like the show, it’s just easy to watch.

9

u/WhyKyja 27d ago

Like watching a literal dumpster on fire. You know the fumes are bad for your head, but the glow of the fire keeps you hooked like a moth to the flame.

4

u/DiamondUnicorn 27d ago

Couldn’t put it better myself

34

u/Morning_Song 27d ago

Honestly the only Australian reality/competition show I can stand is LEGO Masters

6

u/Breathezey 27d ago

My kitchen rules before they went all in on drama!

12

u/WoodenMango07 27d ago

MasterChef is pretty good imo. The new judges seem alright and it seems like its mostly about food and cooking rather then drama

5

u/SoggyFrenchFry 27d ago

I forgot you guys were talking about AUS for a second and was about to say hol' up. American reality TV shows will almost never not be about drama. Funny enough, one of the only ones I like is the American LEGO Masters which is very little backstory and drama. Everyone gets along and encourages eachother instead of sabatoge and yelling and telling the judges they're dumb af.

6

u/Caiur 27d ago

I think the general rule of thumb is that My Kitchen Rules is more about the drama/interactions, while MasterChef is more about the food and cooking

2

u/Breathezey 27d ago

It didn't always used to be this way tho- the last three seasons of mkr got more and more ridiculous- before then it was a lot less drama. Who knows what's happening next tho- mkr may be done after Pete went off the covid deep end.

-1

u/yallchill42 27d ago

Wait that was Australian?

7

u/nIBLIB 27d ago

If you watch the Australian version, yes. If you watch the American one, not so much.

3

u/SoggyFrenchFry 27d ago

ITS FUCKING RUBBISH

Joe makes a criticism that isn't valid or clear and makes sure to do it condescendingly, void of any helpful.

Aaron meekly agrees and says the same things they said in different words if he manages to speak at all.

Also: Wear some fucking nice shoes Joe, you gotta try that hard to dress in a suit trying to act like someone who doesn't care. Fuck your sneaker-suit 24/7. Get fucked.

I don't like Joe

1

u/nIBLIB 26d ago

I have no idea who Joe is, but I am swayed by your passion. Fuck Joe.

12

u/thispartrighthere 27d ago

I agree! Married at first sight bugs me the most though. The psychologists who match these people should lose their license.

2

u/overenthusiasticduck 27d ago

The amount of stuff that’s pushed on that show under the guise of being constructive by the psychologists is incredibly insane and quite frankly disgustingly harmful. Often they refuse to call out abusive behaviour or just brush over it incredibly quickly and make it seem much less serious than what it actually is. The amount of younger people who are going to start moving into serious relationships thinking that a lot of the stuff that goes on throughout that show is ok makes me seriously question whether censorship might be ok in certain circumstances.

2

u/thispartrighthere 26d ago

Exactly. It's such a toxic show.

1

u/El_Paco 27d ago

MAFS Australia literally just matches people for ratings

"They would look cute together — let's see how it turns out!"

And then the "experts" rarely even give legit advice. It's a true dumpster fire of a TV show, which is why I get to watch it with my wife.

1

u/thispartrighthere 26d ago

I get the joy of watching it when my MIL stays. I get dirty looks when I laugh at the psychologists reasons for pairing the couples up. "I think Dennis's fiery attitude will challenge Lisa's quiet demeanour and she will in turn give him the peace he desires". Can see the shit storm brewing right there. She eats it up and I silently judge her.

10

u/Dozinginthegarden 27d ago

Cries in lockdown.

9

u/Nitrosol 27d ago edited 27d ago

I work in media and I love mafs. It's hot trash and I don't watch it but damn at least something actually pulls an audience and makes my job easier. I still have nightmares about ultimate tag (tried to be a prime time channel 7 show, relegated to a digital channel within weeks, not even the good digi). Not even kath and Kim reruns afterwards could make for a well rating evening of telly.

If it helps, because of the Olympics making a bubble with the voice this year, the Block is struggling to build the audience it had last year, which might stop Nine from milking it as hard as usual.

7

u/EbmocwenHsimah 27d ago

Channel 7 can't do a prime-time game show for shit. No matter how much they promote it, they always fuck it up, and they always get low numbers.

3

u/clovisson 27d ago edited 27d ago

Also work in media and feel your pain immensely. My mum used to ask for updates on how Ultimate Tag was rating because every time I called her and she asked how work was it was like giving an update on a slow moving train crash. I feel like The Bachelor will be next.

9

u/TomatoPolka 27d ago

Hadn't watched the Block in a few years, and caught a few episodes of last season and this current one; and I must say it's unbearably annoying with the SpongeBob memes, crying sound fx, non-stop club music and dancing cutaways to appeal to the young tik tok audience.

7

u/omfgcjcj 27d ago

My guy. I’ll add 98% of the talk shows on nova/ todayfm/ kiss fm. Switching from a quality podcast or audiobook with some depth to our radio stations is like going from fine dining to chimpanzees flinging faeces at each other.

7

u/FailureInSpace 27d ago

The Block can just fuck off, absolutely shit

7

u/PixieDickPonyBoy 27d ago

Give me blue healers and I’ll be right

3

u/SashaCranks 27d ago

Still not over what happened to Maggie.

1

u/PixieDickPonyBoy 27d ago

Poor pj…. I knew it wasn’t him

6

u/libre-m 27d ago

When they set standards about the proportion of entertainment that had to be Australian-made, they really should have excluded reality tv. It’s terrible and it’s all over free to air all the time.

6

u/PoptartJones69 27d ago

Watching the Olympics reminded me of the absolute trash that's on Channel 7 (and all free-to-air channels I guess). Seeing the ads for all their different shows actually made me sad that that's the quality of TV we've got now. I'm not even a TV snob, this stuff is a few levels below trashy TV.

5

u/thirdaccountnob 27d ago

The Block on for 12 hours per bastard week followed by MasterChef

5

u/[deleted] 27d ago edited 27d ago

Dancing With The Stars featuring (washed up reality star!)

I absolutely love seeing convicted criminals dancing next to C list actors on a weekday night.

4

u/HtownTexans 27d ago

I'll preface this with Im a huge survivor fan and everyone was telling me to watch big brother. I hate big brother. They milk the crap out of it. There is 0 reason for 3 episodes a week at a full hour a pop. Survivor does all of that in 1 hour. Plus there is nothing hard about living in a really nice house with a bunch of attractive people. I want my attractive people on the beach with no food thank you very much.

11

u/RS994 27d ago

Only show I watch on free tv is Lego masters

13

u/punchmytoast 27d ago

Aussie tv is the fucking worst. I can literally not think of one decent show on the telly at all. It's all pure trash.

4

u/horsesquash 27d ago

home and away 🤮

5

u/MoreThenYouThought 27d ago

Look at Home and Away as a comedy and it improves massively

5

u/mydadpickshisnose 27d ago

Fuck yes. Aussie tv or at least commercial tv is so fucking full of bullshit reality tv. It's utter bullshit. Then the other shit is usually shitty soaps.

It's why I don't watch anything other than ABC and SBS. I pirate everything else.

3

u/permanentthrowaway 27d ago

Married at First Sight is a massive guilty pleasure for me. It's just so ridiculous.

4

u/bigmac1789 27d ago

The new version of Big Brother is so bad. It's the worst version out of the three (with similar formats) Australian being worse. Then US,then Canada being amazing

21

u/kCinvest 27d ago

Big brother US is probably the best TV show i’m watching today. Its awesome!

23

u/MajorSheetrock 27d ago

I’ll fight anyone who says Big Brother is a bad show. Yes, it’s trash. But it’s top tier trash.

7

u/Otaku_Instinct 27d ago

I usually hate these types of shows but there's just something different about BB. Moments like Dan's Funeral are what make the show for me. Idk about the new seasons because I haven't watched them, but BB is definitely up there in terms of reality TV.

3

u/Beard- 27d ago

Agreed. It's the only reality show that doesn't make me want to vomit. Sure some shit they do in the diary room is scripted... But its as close to authentic as you'll get in a reality/game show.

2

u/YourButtMyStuff 27d ago

Survivor > Big Brother

1

u/Beard- 27d ago

BB US and BB Canada are great. I like how in their most recent seasons they seem to have changed up their casting methods a bit as the cast is much more diverse.

3

u/vapablythe 27d ago

You should watch Glitch, brilliant Aussie show

3

u/AntiMatterXD 27d ago

"Ah fuck it. All of it. It's all shit. I'm going to the pub."

Yup, definitely australian.

9

u/jazzle_the_fraggle 27d ago

Are you sure you’re Australian? Aren’t we all in lockdown because of Gladys BinChicken? Or are you on the lucky side of the country?

9

u/EbmocwenHsimah 27d ago

Man, Australian TV's an absolute shitshow.

If it wasn't for the ABC and SBS, I would've given up on TV by now.

5

u/cuntssaurus 27d ago

We can't go to the pub my dude

2

u/covid9099 27d ago

I hate MAFS season..... I can't make it through any conversation without someone mentioning the show. I have never watched an episode, it sounds god awful!

2

u/Fordello 27d ago

Agreed Australian TV sucks! Especially The Block. So cringe

2

u/SlappaDaBassMahn 27d ago

I stopped watching TV last year and almost exclusively game now. My wife isn't that happy but it's been 1p years of increasingly more brain dead crap. I can't take it anymore

2

u/The_H3rbinator 27d ago

The thing that I don't understand is why Aussie reality TV is so dogshit. I think its a purely Australian problem for some reason.

Also at a pub, cheers to a good weekend.

2

u/Curiosity-92 27d ago

yeah I was just thinking the Block used to be pretty good but now it's something else. Didn't realise how crap TV was until the Olympics actually stopped.

2

u/Lostbaguette 27d ago

Us in Sydney wish we could So much

2

u/Ganondorfs-Side-B 27d ago

Cheers to that one mate

2

u/inexpensive_tornado 27d ago

I actually like Gruen, so it's not all shit, just mostly.

2

u/roxadox 27d ago

I was able to tolerate Beauty and the Geek. That's it. All other mainstream reality TV we make here is pure shithouse.

2

u/hyperstarter 27d ago

Cell Block H is still on? Jesus that is a really long series if that's the case.

1

u/1Duggthedogg 27d ago

Nah, it's a reboot called Wentworth that loosely follows that show.

Cell block H was called "Prisoner" here in Australia.

2

u/Mollythecowgirl1234 27d ago

Tell me you’re an Aussie without telling me you’re an Aussie

1

u/1Duggthedogg 27d ago

OK, but don't hate me.

Wanna root Molly?

2

u/RaspberryJam245 27d ago

Yew fockin wot mayt

2

u/danielpauljohns 27d ago

“Fuck it. I’m going to the pub” should be a show on Australian TV

3

u/FarmerStu 27d ago

No love for Beauty and the Geek?

2

u/TheJippo 27d ago

Big brother WAS ok years ago but the reboot is a total price of shit, I agree with all other statements here.

3

u/AaronMckenzie 27d ago

I usually hear it whenever my moms watching and I really can’t stand whenever there talking about themselves it’s just large amounts of cringe and r/iamthemaincharacter vibes

3

u/antonjad 27d ago

Australian Survivor is awesome.

2

u/f1manoz 27d ago

Australian TV is fucking atrocious. I'm not looking forward to my eventual return.

1

u/phlux 27d ago

Just wait for it all to blow over...

1

u/ZombieAngelic 27d ago

Kiwi here. I get sick of my family and their friends talking about all these versions of Married at First Sight, sorry, "MAFS". It's just boring and awful. Don't see the appeal.

1

u/Breathezey 27d ago

I love my kitchen rules tho- it got worse over the years with all the drama, but it's a fun cooking show.

1

u/LethalBoost 27d ago

Good on ya mate

1

u/Razzle_Dazzle08 27d ago

Fuck yeah, especially MAFS.

1

u/Mortem_Wolf 27d ago

That's gotta be the best Australian I've ever seen

1

u/blackbelt_in_science 27d ago

Know what’s not shit though? Going to the pub. Cheers from across the sea

1

u/Stuey_7787 27d ago

The fucking ads on the radio that make out like they are some sort of fucking action movie from the 80s.

1

u/Iron_Wolf123 27d ago

At least Lego Masters changed that

1

u/Smart_Ad_1240 27d ago

I heard this comment in Australian accent

1

u/_Aj_ 27d ago

To The Pub could be a good show.

PS you forgot "I'm a celebrity get me out of here"

1

u/domesticatedprimate 27d ago

American here. Save me a seat.

1

u/otherpeoplesknees 27d ago

I had an ex who made me watch MAFS, I hated every second of it

1

u/iwishiwassmrt 27d ago

Your “deal or no deal” was far better than our North American one. (IMO, of course). Oh-and season one of “my restaurant rules”. Clearly it’s been a while since I’ve been down under. :(

1

u/madeamashup 27d ago

Australian pubs aren't filled with TVs?

1

u/SaturnalianGhost 27d ago

Going to the pub? (Non NSW detected).

1

u/saucehoee 27d ago

Yup. Fun fact: we have so much garbage content because there are laws which require stations to play (I think) 30% local content. Which is fantastic for the aussie TV industry, the problem is all we're given is this cheap as fuck to produce reality TV.

1

u/jinjiyanazadi 27d ago

Australian reality TV shows are aggressively bad. when the only American reality tv show I watch religiously got an Australian version, I could not watch. It was just so bad.

1

u/TrapperJon 27d ago

Take me with you. And I swear I will not embarrass you by being "that American" and order a Fosters.

1

u/_Vyvern_ 27d ago

Save me a pint

1

u/marto__88 27d ago

Going to the pub? Obviously you don't live in Sydney

1

u/nobollocks22 27d ago

Sorry, but you are not allowed to leave your zone at this time.

2

u/1Duggthedogg 27d ago

I'm in regional Victoria. We have limited freedom here.

1

u/MartyVanB 27d ago

Big Brother is a fun show that at least has a competition element to it.

1

u/dontbotherwilly 27d ago

You get to go to pubs?!?! I remember those. Thanks Florida and Texas anything else you want to ruin

1

u/guinness5 27d ago

Canadian here. Same shit different accent.

I'm going to the pub eh.

1

u/Uncle-Hess 27d ago

Danger 5 is the best show anyway!

1

u/allineedarethestars 27d ago

I love hate watching MAFS. Those people are the freakin worst

1

u/HuskyDJ2015 27d ago

Big Brother US is the one reality show I really get into every year

1

u/isiewu 27d ago

I love MasterChef UK but the Aussie version is atrocious

1

u/Picante_Duke 27d ago

As a dutchman, I am sorry for giving you crap like Big Brother.

1

u/JankyJk 27d ago

LOL. How they include that trash as the morning news. Has anybody ever bought a ladder from that fella?

1

u/NerdismOfficial 27d ago

A lot of Australian versions of originally American shows exist.

Most of the American versions suck already, so I can only imagine what it’s like down under.

1

u/ImGCS3fromETOH 27d ago

Ah, you mean all the reasons I never watch free to air tv. Lowest common denominator television. Cheap. Popular. Fucking stupid.

1

u/siggles69 27d ago

MAFS Australia is so much more entertaining than the US version. They add way more opportunities for fighting and drama, such as having alcohol fueled dinner parties with all couples together. Yes I’m trash.

1

u/PoIIux 27d ago

Only good thing about Married at First Sight was Booka spreading the gospel of Make Them Suffer this year

1

u/Jayso1975 27d ago

Right there with you mate, all those show are fuckin shithouse, my Mrs loves that crap, glad the is 2 TVs in the house.

1

u/butterflydrowner 27d ago

I applaud your country's television industry for giving the world Glitch s1 & s2, and think we should consider nuking you for Glitch s3

1

u/SurrealistRevolution 27d ago

Have a schooner for me mate, I’m a Victorian

1

u/Possessed_Zombie 27d ago

Why do you dislike Big Brother? Im speaking about BBUS btw.

1

u/casman_007 27d ago

Which pub? Can I join you?!

1

u/IMMAKINGMOREMONEY 27d ago

Big brother big dookie

1

u/Lefty_22 27d ago

Big Brother AU was great. That’s where I first learned the term “bogan”.

1

u/mittens11111 27d ago

F... BB and MAFS, but I'll still watch the occasional Block to see how not to DYI.

And I would love to join you at the pub, but hey, lockdown, here anyway.

1

u/Inevitable_Cicada563 27d ago

Married at 1st sight is thee most ridiculous!

1

u/dcrothen 27d ago

I'm going to the pub.

Room for one more?

1

u/sumalumadingdng 27d ago

I miss the pubs in Australia.

1

u/Prepheckt 27d ago

That’s the most Aussie thing I’ve ever heard.

1

u/profitmaker_tobe 27d ago

All but... MasterChef Australia I don't watch it anymore, but that's one of the best cooking shows. I have fond memories of watching it as a kid.

1

u/JDK_BROEDERS_FAn 27d ago

Married at first sight? More like cheating simulator

1

u/david_ranch_dressing 27d ago

Married at First Sight

IT'S ALL OR NOTHING

1

u/Finster63 27d ago

USA guy here

I love Survivor Australia

Kinda cool to learn about other cultures in a show that I like

Never heard of toasties or a jaffle before - you can buy the irons in the camping gear sections, but I don't think they are popular

Tasted a pie iron pie once

Bread with canned apple pie filling - pretty tasty

1

u/sirmegsalot 27d ago

Okay but the block was good in the first couple of seasons

1

u/greeneyedsam 27d ago

I read all of this in such a strong Aussie accent I-

2

u/1Duggthedogg 27d ago

😊

Thanks for reading my rant.

You could have just Australian free to air. There’s a reason we’re the biggest pirates in the world.

We have so much talent to make incredible shows here but networks hate spending money. Reality shows are the cheapest to film and broadcast.

Dude, I never even bother to get the free coin, and I’d always thought I’d give my free coins to a comment of great social importance.

Yet here we are.

I purposely backed out of this thread, got the free thingy, came back to find you and gift you.

You captured the essence of so many experiences in my life, the wording, just everything, sublime~

I love how easy/difficult it is to imagine myself saying the same thing more often than I realize 😇

You do you.

Cheers!

To any Aussies/anyone anywhere who need a good laugh, plus the movie version they did actually didn’t suck.....look up “Reno 911”, it was on Comedy Central, if y’all have that channel? (It’s not a real cop show, fake but great incompetent cop humor, apolitical as well......this show is starting to get old, daymn! 😳

Find a way to watch it, funniest shit ever.

(Btw I know this doesn’t answer the main thread, but I always need to recommend this show, it’s hilarious!)

Now I know what I’m binging instead of enjoying the rare sunshine outside.....God Bless technology (?!?)

Read 1984 in high school and cannot fathom how someone could think that'd be an entertaining concept. It should have lasted 1 season with every contestant being pelted by the audience with copies of the book as soon as they're voted out. And I'm not talking paperbacks either, full-size hardcopies.
