First time I met my Italian American later-to-become mother-in-law, she tried to cook me chicken and spaghetti at 10am.

Yes to pasta at any time! When I was in grad school there was an all you can eat brunch buffet at an Italian restaurant near campus. It was glorious to have frittatas, various pastas, and tiramisu at 10:30 in the morning. Didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day!
