The last American soldier casualty in Afghanistan was one and a half years ago. Why the rush to pull out troops out of Afghanistan without proper contingency plans?

Because no contingency plan would make a damn bit of difference, so why keep wasting a billion dollars a day hemming and hawing. Just rip the bandaid off and be done with it.
