The last American soldier casualty in Afghanistan was one and a half years ago. Why the rush to pull out troops out of Afghanistan without proper contingency plans?

They're humvees, they're unusable from the factory without the juggernaut logistics department of the Army keeping the spare parts flowing.

The enemy capturing that equipment isn't really a concern because they'll never be able to keep it working long enough for it to be a threat; and monetarily it wasn't worth as much as it would cost to recover it. So leaving it to be their problem was the best call.
