“What’s really driving this is the unvaccinated,” Branstetter said. “There’s no question about it. The overwhelming majority, 90+% or more in our hospitals that require hospitalizations are unvaccinated.”>

Delta variant: a problem that is solving itself.

Except those unvaccinated people are acting as walking and coughing spawning pits for the next COVID variant, which could be more deadly and could be able to more readily cause breakthrough cases.

So in a way their antisocial resistance to public health and safety may be the overture to an even worse epidemic.

Read the literature. The cdc admits the vaccinated are spreading too, often through asymptomatic spread.

This new pandemic of the unvaccinated slogan is not well supported by data coming from other countries. Read about iceland, israel, UK, gibraltar.

Hopefully people will take a minute and actually look past the mainstream narrative. Increasingly there are data points that seriously undermine the messaging

Iceland has a single documented death this year. Gibraltar has had a single death since March. Israel has had fewer than 100 this month. Israel’s population is approximately as large as the state of Georgia’s.

You have done a great job of pointing out that countries with most of their population vaccinated are preventing death! Yay!

There's evidence that vaccinated people are still less likely to become infected with Delta than the unvaccinated. Such infections have the qualifier "breakthrough" attached because they "break through" the added immune response.

Lancet

medRxiv

The effect vaccinations have on transmissibility/infectibility is less pronounced for Delta than for prior variants, but it appears to be non-zero.

I feel that the CDC's messaging on Delta errs so far on the side of pessimism that it's unduly dampened confidence in these highly effective vaccines.

How can your entire profile be dedicated to posting misinformation about COVID and you still be so bad at making cogent points?

Should it surprise you that someone too stupid to recognize disinformation from truth would not make cogent points? (Huh, that looks strangely like a cogent point.

Well, right off the rip your rebuttal hinges on admitting that you’re a moron, so the cogency of this point is nullified.

Now that I think about, the post your are responding to also made several cogent points that are backed by data - I guess that’s because even a broken clock is right twice a day. Oh crap, another cogent point. I’m on a roll)

Actually, the top comment replying to that post refuted it quite succinctly. So… no you aren’t.

Oh wait, thats such a broad generalization that you couldn’t possibly sustain it.

This isn’t court. Sustainment of what? That you’re a moron? See above. That you are spreading misinformation? See above.

Would love for you to point out specific disinformation - and not by merely asserting it is so or citing someone saying it is so.

So I can’t direct you to others who have already done the legwork to prove you wrong and I also can’t cite a source which says you are wrong…?

Hm. That seems like convictions set up by someone who really doesn’t want their wrong assertions refuted.

Aaaanyway, I usually argue with people who are least showing a speck of good faith and you are here because your brain is broken, so….

If only. My kids are unvaccinated, but it has nothing to do with not wanting them to get the vaccine. If some subhuman anti-vaxx piece of shit kills them, that's hardly "a problem that is solving itself!"
