Acura TL shift knob restoration (wip)

The dealer quoted me $200 for just the shift knob and they're impossible to find in good condition so I decided to refurbish my own. it started out like this and I had no idea what I was doing. After some trial and error I'll gotten a lot closer to the final touches. Final step after detailing will be either clear, expoxy or resin so I won't have to repeat this process for a long time yet.
