Hello to everyone on my favorite subreddit ❤ Your birds, coops, videos make my day, every day!

I've mentioned previously that I am part of a group that is working to reduce the 1-acre minimum needed to own pet chickens in Baltimore County, MD and so far, we are making excellent progress.

To keep up momentum, we have launched a campaign on our page that showcases suburban chickens, and what goes into raising them. As as finish telling one backyard flock's story, we are looking for more content for the next few weeks. A photo, a story, anything that provides a glimpse into how peacefully chickens can exist in a neighborhood setting. We will keep your submission anonymous! These submissions can be from any state, not just MD!

I’ll send some pics today! I live on a postage stamp size plot of land in a very urban neighborhood near downtown San Jose and have a nice size backyard flock :)
