Coming from a multi cultural family background it's always baffling, these types of people are like drowning rats in their final moments trying to cling on to something. It's really depressing when at the end of the day we really aren't that different.

u/[deleted] Feb 09 '20
The numbers are getting low so panic sets in. Plus they're very uneducated.
121
u/do-u-want-some-more Feb 09 '20
Being uneducated is by design. Under fund public schools is a manner of oppression. Not to excuse hatred or their behavior but it is a factor.

u/CantStopPoppin ☑️ Feb 10 '20 edited Feb 10 '20
Here's the thing though, it's not just uneducated people that portray these vile ideologies. Very smart were sentenced to death during the Nuremberg trials. The great lie is that only someone of lower education acts like this and that is stereotype that needs to change because sometimes its far from the truth.
Edit:
Over the years I always thought the character JarJar Binks in Star Wars was stupid. Having said that the older I got the more I realized what Lucas was trying to say. Regardless of how intelligent you are you can still recognize tyranny and stand against it. Sadly Binks was only fully explored and realized in the clone war series.

It wasn't easy to get past the ridiculous surface of Jar Jar to understand that message, so don't feel bad. He was just awful in that movie.
6
u/CantStopPoppin ☑️ Feb 10 '20
I read somewhere that alot of his lines and parts were cut from the movie. I think that is why he was so of putting. In the clone wars show it clicked when watching episodes based just on him. It showed how he may have not been smart at all but he knew right from wrong and stood up against tyrants. The movie only glossed over that in a couple scenes.
4
u/kryppla Feb 10 '20
I haven't watched the Clone Wars but I fully believe what you say. I wish the stupid Americans could tell right from wrong instead of all joining the Trump cult. In retrospect JarJar was much much wiser than his goofy speaking let on.
→ More replies8
u/CantStopPoppin ☑️ Feb 10 '20
The clone wars is better than all of the new movies combined the only thing that comes remotely close is the side movies. On the subject of trump sadly he knew exactly what he was doing and the people that voted for him still don't get it.
He gave non victims victim-hood status, by doing so they felt like they finally had someone that spoke for them. This being said the guy has a silver tongue and would throw his own family to the wolves if needed.

Pretty sure his name was Tyrone Johnson. I did a reverse image search to find the photo source but didn’t come up with anything. I wanted to know what happened to him afterwards, if anything. What a photo.
EDIT: Found this weird analysis of his fighting stance. I don’t think we actually know the man’s name.

Hidings ones identity while committing atrocities in the name of ones beliefs and hiding ones identity while a tyrannical government uses facial recognition cameras to spirit citizens away mainland china for "reeducation" are two astronomically different things.
On another subject It is amazing how people like this are so willfully ignorant. Look at exhibit A:

This users favorite movie is Kung Fu Hustle Which is a movie made in Hong Kong that China has banned. I think this is called irony.

Happy Black History Month everyone!
Charity Drive for Equal Justice Initiative
To help celebrate this occasion, the moderators of BPT are organizing a charity drive to support the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI). EJI provides legal representation for prisoners who may have been wrongly convicted of crimes, poor prisoners without effective representation, and others who may have been denied a fair trial. The folks at EJI are on the front lines of combating racial and economic injustice, as well as protecting human rights. We want to equip them to continue carrying out their valuable work. For those who may have seen Just Mercy recently, Michael B. Jordan plays the founder of EJI, Bryan Stevenson, in the movie.
