Doctor says my cholesterol is way too high Lab Result

Im a 30year old Caucasian male. 6ft tall, 170lbs. Family history of high cholesterol

  • Total = 245(mg/dl)
  • HDL = 60
  • LDL = 163
  • Triglycerides = 106

I didnt fast before this sample but even so im scared by this. Doctor recommended i cut out sat fats and added sugar. I already exercise vigorously 5-6 days a week so theres only so much I can do. Hopefully it will go down after i clean up my diet a bit

Everyone dies in their 70s from dementia (a separate issue) 😂. No heart attacks thankfully

I've seen studies of high cholesterol being linked to dementia (due to decreased blood flow to the brain), so it might not be as separate as you think.
