How privileged are you that you would accept people dying so you can get out of lockdown in a first world country.

You have no idea what you are saying. Even if it’s 40 people a day, that is a huge amount of deaths and we will all be affected. Losing a loved one is much harder and forever to 207 days of lockdown.

If someone from Melbourne or even Sydney wants to tell me to suck it up I'll engage with them. If someone who isn't in lockdown tells me I'm selfish for wanting to end the lockdown then I get a bit stroppy

If there was a big wall of flames outside your house, you wouldn't choose to walk outside even if it was 300 days locked inside. So at some level you have to be making the call 'I probably won't die, so it's ok'. Which translates to 'I don't want to lock down, I would prefer it if people (who aren't me) die instead'.
