Fixing clear coat run on plastics?

I didnt see a stickied megathread so sorry if this this help question is not allowed, but working on doing a custom paintjob on some small plastics and 1 of my pieces drew a significant run on my clear coat phase. (most help guides online were for auto paint jobs or wood)

• Do I sand for evenness and adhesion and re-clear, or sand and repaint entirely?
• Do I only sand the affected area or am I redoing the entire piece?
