Egypt "can't protect shit" sure, although that's a gross simplification of that issue. That said it's not YOUR history, if it's anyone's it belongs to the Egyptians, but it's really humanity's history.
Again unreasonable, why does everyone go to extremes to "fix" things that aren't broken? The British have absolutely no obligation to guard Egypt's culture. That said, while they don't exactly have claim to the artifacts they've put in these museums, it has no doubt kept those relics safe from the instability of North Africa whether this guy realizes it or not.
If British military rolled into Egypt to protect it there would be a shit storm and Islamic countries around the world would be telling us to get fucked. So no, let Egypt protect themselves. Egypt also has a shit ton of oil like Saudi, Qatar and these gulf states. They should be a rich society with tons of infrastructure etc, but I guess they have a few corrupt leaders who take it all for themselves and don't give a shit about the people.
