During the last revolution the Egyptian people ransacked countless tombs and sold them on the black market. They then started asking for them back because they belong in Egypt

You mean criminals stole them, and other, non-criminal, Egyptians want them back. Why do you make it sound like all 100 million Egyptians were in on it?

Most of the commentators on this subreddit are legit bigots and brain dead, do not even bother..

If 100 million everyday Egyptians didn't want their artifacts being stolen by the presumable minority of criminal Egyptians, you think they'd have found a way to stop it? Or maybe most everyday Egyptians just didn't care a whole lot and the people vehemently demanding back "stolen goods" are actually in the minority. Just throwing out ideas.

Edit to make my point clearer: if 100 million Egyptians did nothing to stop criminals looting their artifacts... They are kinda also responsible. Silence is violence, no?

Well it happened during the unstable period of the revolution. Where chaos ensued and security forces were no where to be seen, as they were part of the corrupt government. Maybe stop throwing out ideas when you don't know the full picture? Just throwing ideas.

Also, a lot of Egyptian civilians tried protecting the artifacts during this period and saved a lot of stuff.

Where do you live that you don't have criminals because everyone in your society stops them, all working together in perfect harmony?

Sounds amazing. Too bad here on planet Earth we still have trouble stopping crime.

You're right, I don't live in a place like that. Because most people just don't give a shit about much beyond their own butts. Including about ancient artifacts.

Lol that happened during an unrest when the police and guards left their positions by the order of the minister of interior at the time and left the museum unguarded, the minister that Egyptians where in the streets to get him and the rest of the government at the time to jail.

And they managed to get alot of these artifacts back btw.

If you ask "everyday Egyptians" they will tell you they want them back.

Just throwing out ideas.

Ye just stop... Or maybe we can have a shit throwing fight if thats all youre gonna throw.

Bro youre the one who made a claim out of your own ass that Egyptians dont care, if you want to find out more about the subject, educate yourself or do a survey yourself.
