Results We just got the Embark results back for our second puppy Roxxane, and we were a bit surprised. The rescue said her mom was American bulldog, and we expected pitty as well, but she is all leg and very wiry and lean. Results at the end.

Here Roxx is with her bro and bestie Rocko, our black papillon/husky/GSD mix. Really. We got Rocko at 7 months, and then added 3-mo-old Roxanne when he was about 10 months. She is now about 10 months and is still growing. Rocko is small Alaska husky sized. They alternate between pro wrestling and jostling for prime cuddle spots. We were SURE there would be something like boxer in her mix to explain the build. My partner only rescues pitt mixes and he has never seen one as leggy and wiry as her. She looks like a damn leopard when she runs.

Needs update Just Sent In a Wisdom Panel for our New Stray!

Meet Kaia 😁 We found her as a stray over memorial weekend and gained her trust thru the help of some yummy brisket and sitting nearby for a few days. She is the newest addition to our dog loving family. We just sent in a doggy DNA test for her, but as I am quite curious and the process takes 3-4 weeks, I’d love to know what breed y’all think she may be. She looks very similar to a border collie but the thing is, the vet says she’s full grown (9-12months old and 12lbs 12oz) and that’s about 1/3rd the size of a border collie. She hasnt really shown any herding behavior on our two large dogs (they freak her out lol) but she points a lot when she goes outside. Will post the results of her test once it comes in.

Results He makes so much more sense now!!!

I adopted Hank from a kill shelter at the end of January. Thanks to his tail, I knew he was part pug. Most people, including me, thought he might be part chihuahua. However, none of that explained how insanely coordinated and energetic he is, nor his complete disinterest in my welfare or happiness. 😂 Sooo, he's not a chug afterall, which in retrospect is not surprising. He may only be 18% rat terrier, but those clearly are centrally important genes!!! The description of a rat terrier fits him 100%. Now that I know he's a pug-ratty, I enjoy him a lot more as I understand him better. I wish I could post videos here. He is incredible on the agility course.

We are surprised on some percentages but not surprised at all on the breeds! She’s tracking a little slow on growth- looking like she will be 40-50 pounds which is definitely explained here. Also one inbred girlie!

Results Surprising result from a few years back

This is my parents’ 30 lb, now 12 year old dog. She was adopted as a puppy and listed as a “cocker spaniel mix,” and people always think she has retriever or beagle in her. But my parents got a DNA test for her a couple years ago and well… no spaniel, retriever, or beagle, just a bunch of breeds that look nothing alike and somehow produced her! Don’t have the results screenshot but the breakdown was ~25% of each: basset hound, shih tzu, pekingese, supermutt. She’s definitely hound-like, and I guess the other breeds could have given her the fluffiness and smaller size. What do you guys think?

Results Sushi the Corgi. Breeder said she was 75% Pembroke Welsh and 25% Cardigan. Does Wisdom Panel test for Cardigan?

Hi! I received the results for Sushi and she was listed as 100% Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but the breeder I got her from said she was an accident on the farm and is not purebred. She was supposed to be Cardigan and Pembroke Welsh, but both are corgis. She's small for her breed and I've always been curious if there was more.

Does Wisdom Panel test for different types of corgis?

I adopted this girl last week. Her litter mates at the shelter all looked to be from different dads and they were labeled “shepherd mix”. I was told she may be 3-4 months old (no adult teeth yet). I’m thinking she may be border collie or Aussie, but I’d like to hear others thoughts as well

I only discovered this reddit after getting back Simba’s dna results a few months ago. I posted the results right away at the time… but I kinda regret that I didn’t get any opinions on what he looks like first. What are your first thoughts, without looking a the results? (I’ll link to my original post with the results in the comments)
