Title of the article gives the impression that it’s completely opaque, which it isn’t. It’s just not “real time” information. Given that financial performance information is not “real time” either, I’m not sure I see the logic of why voting choices should be.

Fund managers should be focusing on maximizing wealth for their investors, not trying to second-guess their political preferences.

This is my second try because I was censored . My reply was initially : should we really turn economics into politics ? Reddit didn’t like that . So I’ll add a few words and see if this second yet goes through . As long as I know what companies are in the index then I have the ability to see what those companies stand for . As much as I understand index investing I prefer individual stocks over ETFs and mutual funds and that includes index’s Short answer we all have the ability to look that stuff up already don’t we ??
