Home schooling in the US is almost entirely just right wing "Christian" nutjobs. So I agree. This is much better.

When I was a kid, I had a friend who grew up homeschooled. We're Canadian, but the rest of the stereotype you mentioned applies to his parents.

Through the years, more and more people are homeschooling to widen their kids’ worlds, not to narrowly control them. The majority, no doubt, are Christian just as you said, but the stereotype that kids are kept home & shielded from the world is less valid.
