Did you know, cats like to imitate, that's why they sit on your laptop keyboard, they are imitating you

I always assumed it was because the laptop was warm, since a cat's comfortable temperature is usually a fair bit higher than ours.

And cause they want your attention.

Cats are natural mimics, especially kittens.

Mine is an old fart and will actually shake his head no on occasion, it's an odd little movement that clearly means NOPE

My cat doesn’t sit on my laptop but he does sit on my chair in front of my computer while I’m out jogging. He’s polite so he moves as soon as I get back home like “I kept it warm for ya” lol

My cousin’s kitten was mesmerized by Minecraft. She would sit on the keyboard and I could manage to press WASD underneath her and she would just watch as I walked around.

It's so interesting because mine is not fazed by anything that is on a screen. Even TV Sounds don't seem to interest him, even though he's usually very careful with "real" sounds (he's an outside cat)
