Favoritism

I’ve been in fluid load for 3 months and only now noticing how naive I’ve been around this toxic work environment. I come to work and do my job the right way, but the PA’s still insist on moving whoever they feel like to other departments. I’ve volunteered for my own enlightenment to get a feel of other jobs, but more often than not, they imply that I don’t have a choice. I’ve found out by talking to a black vest (Leadership) that half the time they didn’t even need me. I’d get management’s permission to go back to fluid and the PA’s are annoyed especially when I drop a supervisors name and they can’t do shit. Also, I confirmed the PA’s keep all the girls they find attractive in their department and give them nicknames like Turkey Butt and perv out on the females all day. They also favorite whoever they like regardless of how good or bad of a job they do, or if they even do anything at all. The hardest workers get pushed around, get sent to other random departments when it’s backed up. Today I busted my ass on my trailer. Usually when people close a trailer, they’re allowed to chill for several minutes while TDR works on closing out a trailer. Literally a minute after TDR closes my trailer, I walk over to the adjacent trailer to talk to my friend who just got moved there. I walk there also with the intent on helping him since he was solo. Next thing I know, a PA darts around the corner and lectures me about the trailer being backed up. I told the PA, “Ok…but Dude I literally finished my trailer and came over here to talk to my friend, but I’m more than glad to help.” Of course I wasn’t acknowledged. This is the kinda of shit that will make the wrong person snap.

My building is 15 mins, but they expect you to use 2.5 minutes to walk there, and 2.5 minutes to get back to your area.

Same, and I do as I was told, but nobody else does and I feel like an idiot. Working the 12-hour shift, I'd be seriously more productive with more breaks.
