I start orientation tomorrow but i can’t start the job normally until sunday (my shifts will be Friday-monday) First off do y’all think they would mind? Secondly i still live with my parents and have to go where they go including vacations, would working here make it any difficult? Plz help me thanks

Dude your an adult, you don't have to go with your parents lol.

If your talking about express, vacation days have bidding windows once a year, you put pretty much all your vacation days on the calendar then, and it's based on seniority with limited slots per month, if you're new, don't expect to get popular vacation times, summer, after holidays, that sort of thing.

It’s ground, as a package handler I just graduated meaning I guess i don’t have all the freedoms of being an adult but they probably won’t see it that way. There’s only one major trip i’m worried about so might just have to give my two weeks notice before then in some months if it’s that bad. Other than that it’s still the day that i have to start that’s on my mind

Depends on how your Management situation. If you’re just a PH at Ground I doubt they’d care. My previous Hub and current Hub both where pretty chill when it came to vacations. Just notify them and you’ll most likely be approved. Secondly, if you can’t start till Sunday notify them.

1) your manager is always the first and best place to ask 2) don’t ever pass up free vacations. Enjoy spending time with your parents while you’re young.

You have to work 90 days before you're able to take any days off. You'll get written up and fired for missing any days before then. You'll have to find another job

You could still input the vacation time in the ADP punch in kiosk or iPads to get to my schedule. While you might not be at 1000 hours or whatever the criteria to use PTO hours for your vaca I recall an option to let them know you’ll be away for period of time without pay and it’s excused.
