It’s the easiest way to remove the pit! Index and middle fingers on each side of the pit and use your thumb to press from behind.

The easiest way is to hatchet a knife in the middle of the pit and it comes out. No muss, no fuss.

I make something similar but I use the store packed broccoli slaw, traders joes jalapeño sauce, pesto, avocado, tomatoes, and onion. Might throw some sweet peppers in their too.

Did you just pour your pasta in a bowl of boiling water? That's a ceramic bowl in the first shot, and it's not on a stove
