It's amazing how often the before photo is a ~60 year old obese man in some kind of camo with that exact goatee.

68

u/spaceghost260 Team Moderna Aug 10 '22

It’s almost like you can predict it based solely on a picture!

White, older male, goatee, camo, hunting or fishing, “always helping the community”, being overweight/obese, and being a disgusting & ignorant racist are basically a bullseye for COVID at this point.

Why wear camo to go fishing? Makes no sense. It's not like the fish can see you (or not) depending on what you are wearing.

Bet his family/friends will claim he died "with" covid rather than from covid. Dollars to donuts that ear ache developing into pneumonia and then cardiac issues WERE covid.

Camo doesn't show stains so its perfect for dirty work or fishing. Any permanent stains just add to tthe pattern lol. I have an old camo shirt I throw on when I work on projects. It should not be worn as an everyday fasion statement though.

Camo is a display of cultural tribalism, an indicator of in-group status, outside of it's practical uses.

49

I bought work out shorts in camo because it was the cheapest pattern/color on Amazon. I feel like I have to explain this to people in defense of my choices. Probably just should have $5 more for black ones.

The Levi Strauss Co. lost me back in the early '90s with their "DeGeneration" line of jeans. $70 for a pair of jeans guaranteed to fall apart a bit every time you washed them. Much grunge, very edge.

Nixon / Clinton slide: don't forget to include Fucko who lied so many times while acting as POTUS that there are whole websites dedicated to documenting it.

Nixon had to resign because back then people actually had standards and consequences existed, and the things that Mr. Raided-by-FBI did daily before he had his noon "Fish Delight" were worse than what other people got fired for.
But he got away with it due to corruption, and noise-making obstruction by people like you.

So yeah, keep slinging mud while you're standing neck-deep in shit.
It seemed to work well for you.

48

u/VoyagerCSL Aug 09 '22

Per my research, apparently at some point in 2016 he referred to his favorite menu item at McDonald's as the "Fish Delight". He probably meant Filet-o-Fish, but since he's never actually had to order for himself he probably misremembered it as "Fish Delight" 30 years ago and none of his lackeys has bothered to correct him because they know what he means.

46

u/FateLeita Aug 09 '22

I think 'Fish Delight' might be my favorite Trumpism, more than covfefe even. I like fish, but the thought of 'Fish Delight', from McDonald's no less, evokes a certain kind of image.

Is it Fancy Feast? High-end canned salmon? Turkish delight, but made of fish? I picture it as something one would order at an opulent-to-the-point-of-gaudy NYC restaurant, perhaps in the basement of his hotel. The kind of place with gold toilets that looks like it was decorated out of a Russian Oligarchs R Us magazine.

18

u/The_Spectacle Aug 10 '22

I seem to remember something about Revolutionary War soldiers protecting the airports. I loved that one. I hadn’t heard of Fish Delight until now.

Slide 17 (edited down for length because we’re all vaccinated and have lives to live)

After 3 times of him going into cardiac arrest they pulled us back in the ER. He coded 5 more times for a total of 8… Staff is saying they don’t believe this was caused by Covid that they aren’t sure what has caused all of the cardiac arrest… Currently he is not responsive nor sedated… Pray that his brain shows activity and that he will continue to fight.”

Wow, the fates wanted this dude to shuffle off the mortal coil at light speed. Brain scans were useless on him for years already, and all the beers in the whole world wouldn’t have given him a higher blood alcohol level that would rival the Ding-Dongs and bacon content his poor chest cavity was forced to toss around his carcass.

For more good news: He was alive when Wackadoo Nigerian “doctor” was ranting about being subjected to demon semen in her dreams. Oh oh oh also too as well along with that, Captain Doink of the good ship SS Trump Won was also around when the Other Wackadoo doctor Simone Gold (unfortunately was actually licensed in North America at one time) had her credentials suspended and went to jail.

For sure he must have had many ponderings of various deep-ish thoughts while out fishin’ for liberal tears, but alas, his heart could apparently not go on.

Luckily the doctors in my hospital push for the vaccination but there’s a ton of medical workers who suddenly can’t get the vaccine due to “religious” reasons.

14

u/BernieDharma Aug 10 '22

I was a Paramedic for 10 years and have been through so many infectious disease classes long before Covid. I can't believe how many of these guys bought into the conspiracy BS when they can read the medical literature themselves: The cytokine response, the clotting, the organ damage, the long term effects. How can they downplay it all?

In addition, you have to have a long list of mandatory vaccinations just to be in the Paramedic program so a few more is no big deal. He would have had early access to the vaccine, but was anti-vax. I just don't get these guys.

(Spoiler: It is worse.)

13

u/dumdodo Aug 09 '22

Although I'm dubious, it is possible that he caught Covid after he got into the hospital.

Despite his self-described toughness (and I heard he could best most 8-year-olds in a fight), this Asst. Fire Chief and Paramedic leader was on numerous medications and had numerous things wrong with him, so anything could have brought him to the hospital.

But if you're tough and you stand for Trump, you don't get vaccinated, regardless of how terrible your health is.

15

u/mothermucca It’s just a COVID Aug 09 '22

It’s theoretically possible that he got exposed when he went for the ear infection. My brother-in-law definitely got COVID from a trip to the ER. But if that was the case, the progression was really, really fast. Life flighted 2 days later?

And my 80 year old bro-in-law is fine. Cuz he was vaccinated.

Simone Gold thinks we're in the 'death throws' of free speech. Is that when she throws people into graves who died because they believed her?

So is it Glenn Beck or Gold who can't spell 'death throes'? Either way, pretty sad.

Slide 17. The staff didn't believe Covid caused the cardiac arrest. I'm not a doctor but perhaps Covid caused pneumonia preventing oxygenated blood from reaching his heart which caused cardiac arrest.

Condolences to the family but the silver lining for the nation is that he won't be voting in November.

8

u/Evadrepus Team Pfizer Aug 09 '22

So slide 14...looked into the study. It was a lab study (not on subjects) on primate tissue. The study also specifically points out that there's a lack of live (in vivo) studies and solutions. It's also specifically about swine flu (2001's epidemic) which is also a coronavirus but not exactly the same. Coronavirii are a family of diseases. Think of it as a race, if you like.

And hundreds of studies have been done since it was suggested as a cure/fix and not a single one has shown anything more than a casual relationship, i.e. no impact whatsoever.
