I loved when I found Bill Burr the year after George died because I felt like he was the closest thing comedy-wise despite being so different. They both make fun of everybody and have their great points, but Bill Burr, like George, leans very left. Comedy tends to lean left in the first place because every right wing “comedian” that has tried has failed because they don’t understand punchlines.

When you are mean to minorities and try to cancel their rights it no longer becomes comedy but just a tirade of insults. Dennis Miller was probably the closest in recent memory, but even he was mocked relentlessly for being unintelligible and then became a pundit on Fox News.

Or delta time lag. Or slyly use mean income instead of median income. And so on...
