Anyone who believes in the power of prayer please pray for Diamond!

Anyone who believes in the power of misinformation, maybe pray differently? 😏

u/Pixelfrog41 Nov 28 '22

I said I’d pray for her to get the outcome she deserves.

13

Long haul post covid complications! I do not "pray" I "wish."

6

I don't pray either but I wasn't going to complicate their thread with anything more than they could understand.

I believe in the power of the vaccines far more than I believe in the “power of prayer”. Peoples prayers were answered the day the vaccines were approved. Anyone still too foolish/ignorant/clueless to get themselves vaccinated has to deal with the consequences of their actions.

And yes I am fully aware that even the fully vaccinated can catch Covid and get sick. However the odds of getting extremely sick/dying of Covid increase dramatically if you aren’t vaccinated.

Drumpf lol

142

u/beholdthesurmulot Nov 27 '22

His grandfather's real name. Also, grandad was a German-speaking immigrant from the Südeten who had made a small fortune pimping girls on the Yukon trail and really wanted to go back there and be a good Nazi, but his house and lands had already been confiscated by the Party, so he was denied entry.

35

u/Haskap_2010 ✨ A twinkle in a Chinese bat's eye ✨ Nov 28 '22

Before he became a pimp he cut the flesh from horses that died on the trail and sold it to fellow fortune seekers.

That's right - the Trump family fortune started with roadkill.

They wanted fame and $$$$$$$ saw the opportunity to sell themselves out and tell racists what they want to hear. If you have no values or soul anyone of color can do the same.

10

u/KittenWithaWhip68 Nov 28 '22

I saw that. Her mom was absolutely a hustler (seems like too nice of a term) hiding behind MAGA-type Christianity (which we see more often than not on this sub). At one point she said she had a special Bible and for a $50 fee, she would write the donor’s name in it! She’s probably done worse, along with the dad, but at that point I quit researching the parents because I seriously started getting nauseous.

49

u/LovemeSomeMedia Nov 27 '22

Think Candace Owen, but even dumber.

6

u/KittenWithaWhip68 Nov 28 '22 edited Nov 28 '22

Oh, that’s not good!

I have a friend who’s a long-time human rights activist and goes to Black Lives Matter protests/marches/events. She told me no one in the local BLM community can fucking stand Candace Owens, and would call her a race traitor to her face if they got the chance.

Speaking of horrible people, do remember hearing those two were no-talent tacky trashy antivaxxers. Guess what, the BLM community can’t stand them either. What I didn’t know till I looked just now was that fucking FOX NEWS cut them loose for spreading vaccine information. (Good ole Newsmax was happy to hire them). Also, they claim FB censored them, violated their first amendment rights, bla bla bullshit bla, when there is zero evidence for this.

I don’t see how any sane Democrat would turn around and become an avid trmp supporter and stump for him unless 1. they were mentally ill ..I can think of one very high-profile celeb/musician who recently lost quite a bit of money, and a former actress who calls herself a feminist while shitting on other women and stumping for an especially horrible black Republican who treated women like shit in the Gavin Newsome “recall election”, who both fit the deeply mentally ill narcissist category. Other reason (this is just my theory)? Pure greed, no moral compass. Or both. Definitely a lot of overlap there.

Had a friend who worked her ass off for the Hillary Clinton campaign, volunteered, donated money, etc. Somehow around 2019 she became a diehard giant orange rat (I don’t even like to say the assholes name if I don’t have to) supporter. She went to anti-quarantine protests and mask burning parties. And she was at the Jan 6th rally before those treasonous fucks stormed the capital. I had cut ties before Jan 6, but I remember thinking —and this no joke—she might have had a stroke, since her whole personality changed and it was so unlike her. That, or she went off her meds.

I told my husband that if I start acting/talking like that, take me to the hospital because I probably had a stroke or other dangerous brain issue. He thought I was kidding at first, but I assured him I was serious.

Sorry for the long post. I see Diamond did catch Covid pretty recently, and IIRC is hospitalized. I was hoping for a different outcome, if you get my drift.

u/EquationsApparel Nov 27 '22

And they were liberals but Democrats didn't buy their schtick, so they went conservative and leaned hard into black stereotypes.

69

u/JoJCeeC88 Nov 27 '22

They were pro-Trump vloggers who first made a name for themselves during the 2015-16 Republican nomination and whose reach exploded during the campaign that year. Much of their gimmick was that these were two ordinary Black women who normally did not have any interest in politics whatsoever. Once Trump got elected they continued to ride that fame into Fox, but then fizzled out fast.

As far as I know they haven’t had COVID before, but they’re prime targets for mortality due to the obvious co-morbidities they have.

If this is confirmed to be COVID, then it will be THE highest-profile nominee yet.

I’ve had five different thanksgiving dinners. I have cancer, and my friends want to help in any way they can, so there has been a steady stream of thanksgiving leftovers hitting the porch this week. The best so far was an amazing apple crumble pie. The worst was some sweet potatoes that were so spicy that they were inedible, followed by some mashed potatoes that had the same treatment. We’re having a very nice turkey soup tonight, courtesy of the neighbors across the street.

They insisted on throwing as many innocents to the virus as possible so this is only fair. She should have to face the fear and misery that she willingly heaped on others. Long covid may be a bigger bitch than her.

u/ColetteThePanda Nov 28 '22

Will I regret looking them up? I haven't a fucking clue who they are, and I suspect that's probably for the best.

You absolutely will regret it. Revel in your ignorance, stay blissful on this particular issue.

Some filmmaker should make a movie called Died Expectedly profiling all the antivaxxers and COVID deniers who've died of it.

Unfortunately I don’t like seeing anyone suffer but for me, there’s schadenfreude. Spread dangerous misinformation to shill and make a buck and this is what you get for being reckless with public health.

Odds on the next post being ventilator-related? Because that's usually bad.

Diamond and Silk make me think of almond milk every time. Blue Diamond makes Almond Breeze and Silk is a staple alternative milk brand in any grocery store in the U.S. if they every reform from their grift maybe they can move into the milk industry.

u/rmads1983 Nov 27 '22

Did she try curing herself with mangoes?

8

u/NitWhittler Nov 28 '22

It may sound heartless, but I have no sympathy for people who are still dying from COVID because they refuse to get vaccinated or take any precautions.

We'll be better off with a few less idiots, especially if those idiots were spreading lies and misinformation that were causing more deaths.

u/AbbreviationsDue7794 Nov 28 '22

Interestingly, they have not tweeted since the call for prayer warriors. Usually they tweeted 5-20x a day. Hmm..

8

u/[deleted] Nov 28 '22 Bravo Grande!

Dude I think Died Suddenly is like the tape in The Ring. You can actually catch Covid from it

u/boom011983 Nov 29 '22

This would be up there with Herman himself.

these trash grifters make you think of uncle tom’s cabin, but the sad thing is how few people have actually read it. uncle tom is maybe the most mis-used fictional reference ever, he was not a coward who sold out his race out of weakness , he was a devout christian who disobeyed the owner of the plantation and refused to beat another slave so he was beaten to death because of his ethics and his beliefs. i know these pieces of shit never read it and they are a much bigger disgrace than uncle tom even in the worst interpretation of the book.

u/KitschenWench Nov 27 '22

Malcolm X had a more pungent and on-point phrase for it. Rhymed with "mouse trigger".

9

u/phone_reddit_reader Nov 28 '22

Yeah, the villians in Stowe’s work are the “well meaning whites” who didn’t help anyone- which tracks as that is the group the book was aimed to mobilize

u/College-Lumpy Nov 27 '22

Any independent confirmation this is COVID? Don’t want to be like the antivax community that claims every death is from the shot.

26

u/Darkside531 Team Moderna Nov 27 '22

I feel like, if it were anything else, they would have casually said it... "pray for her, she... whatever (has a bad flu, took a nasty fall, etc.)" ..., but carefully avoided saying the cause for a reason.

15

u/AbbreviationsDue7794 Nov 27 '22

The only people who could really confirm it are the grifters themselves so I doubt we'll hear anything until:
- she makes a miraculous recovery and says it was due to ivermectin and Jesus.
- she dies and the other one spins it somehow ("she was tricked into getting vaccinated and then died!")

u/M3wThr33 Nov 28 '22

Look at the rest of this subreddit. A majority of the time, you'll see the folks attribute their sickness to pneumonia... but they also have Covid. They steadfastly refuse to ever learn.

A quick Google search doesn’t bring up anything about Rhinestone having the Rona.

I imagine she just got done celebrating Thanksgiving unmasked with extended family after taking a plane or two, so who knows?

I'm more concerned about the price of these mangoes we got now. Can we talk about these mango prices???

4

u/Revenga8 Nov 28 '22

You'd think these idiots would realize by now prayer power isn't going to do anything for you. Why would God give you preferential treatment just because you keep begging for preferential treatment. God will judge you after you die based on what you did with your life. If you were a piece of judgemental shit to other people while you lived, well then there's a good to fair chance you don't like where God sends you after you're dead.
