Reach-In Closet System Recommendations
I have a 75" wide 22.5" deep closet space. I'm researching reach-in closet systems to determine which one is best for my needs. Just purchased home, plan to be here ~5 years. Aside from just holding my stuff, I'd like this thing to be pleasant to use, not look terrible, and not fall apart due to poor materials. I will spend $500-$1000 on this if it's needed to get a good quality system, but would have to be convinced at the top end of that range (and would gladly spend less!).
I don't have any interest in doing a special custom closet, I'd prefer to do a modular out of the box system, which I will install myself.
Here are the brands I've been looking at:
- elfa
- Shelftrac
- Closet Maid
- California Closets + Martha Stewart
- John Louis Home
Any strong opinions pro or con?

To add to this, you build the closet based on your measurements (as opposed to being locked into set widths between the verticals). They will cut the pieces to fit. Some items are a set width, but spans for shelves or hanging rods can be whatever you need to make it go wall to wall. I'm about to install mine!!
