Why are skins so expensive? Discussion

Wanted to make a discussion on what players think when it comes to the 30.00 skins. These prices are higher than many major league game skins (15.00-25.00) I just feel it seems greedy as well as giving stat boost for buying them. Very pay to win in a major case. What do y’all think should they lower prices or give access to grind for them over many long periods of time?

I’ve seen games with skins $40-$50. A game like LoL gets most of its revenue from skins. These probably aren’t their main revenue source and want them to be more exclusive.

If they weren’t the main source then they would be less expensive.

Not if you’re wanting them to feel exclusive because you only have a limited pool of skins.

It’s supply and demand.
