I just did the same thing a month ago, I must say the 1,5 hour of walking a day I've been doing since then have been my saving grace. :) make sure to treat yourself to fun and nice things to do! (I bought a new beautiful 1000 pieces puzzle (normally only buy them second hand) and a book I always wanted to read but was always too hangover for) you got this! I'm so proud of you for trying!
Heck yeah! Take it one day at a time. I like to reward myself for exercising with non-food things like manicures and tattoos. Lol. Things I don't normally do. Self care is the best care.
Congratulations! And thank you so much for the encouragement and advice. Thankfully fitness and art are already a big part of my life. You nailed it when you talked about being too hungover for your hobbies. Realizing that booze was the major roadblock to my goals was one of the reasons I quit.

I’ll celebrate with you. I just gave up booze exactly 4 days ago. A year seems a long ways away so you’re my goal!
Edit: you people are incredible. Thank you for the support!
