At first I was like, that's so sweet. And then he said he was going on a trip and didn't know if he could make his rent, and I thought, what? If you can't make your rent why are you going on a trip? Give me the $500, I guarantee I need it more than that guy because I would need it and still not be going on a trip 😂.

Everyone needs a break, even if its a trip that goes over your budget. It is so good for your well being.

He didn't say he was over budget. He said he din't think he could have made rent. Those two statements are worlds apart.
