That's so sweet! When he ran away and she looked sad that really got to me. I love the ending :)

I used to work with a tall lady (she was a few inches taller than me) from what she told me, this is actually a pretty common occurrence for tall girls. Apparently her dating pool was massively limited due to her height. I don't understand how because she's very beautiful and great to talk to.

Thinking about it, one of the reasons she latched onto me was probably because I never mentioned her height, I didn't even notice it until someone else brought it up.

Some men think that tall women are out of their league or possibly feel 'emasculated' because of society standards. Some women either want men as tall as them, or feel insecure about dating shorter men as they think they won't be liked.

Truth is we should all just focus on getting along and liking each other for who we really are, these things can be worked out with love and caring. But society pressure and standards kinda veil this truth even though things are a bit better nowadays (more openness from both sexes about overcoming the above difficulties)

I’m a short guy (5’5”M) and I have actually had better luck with girls taller than me. Of course people will kinda tease you but it’s never anything real mean hahahah. My first real relationship was with a 5’9” girl and my current gf is 5’8”. I used to never ask out gals that were taller than me because I thought I’d never have a chance, boy was I wrong. Don’t limit your dating field just because of what you assume!
