Today marks the first time I have been under 200 pounds in a year. 2020 was an absolute gut punch and I gained weight faster than I ever have before. Hard work has been paying off! Personal Win

I'm putting on my second covid 19lbs. It's been really difficult. I've had two surgeries, two injections for two bulging disks from a fall, 6 months of physical therapy, and a few extra kilos of depression. Fucking worst year and a half ever. Congratulations on dropping the weight, it gives me hope.

Congratulations, human. Drastically cut your sugar intake and workout more with weights and cardio.

Thank you! Mostly cutting out alcohol and walking a lot more during the week has helped tremendously!

I'm on a similar journey and weight after having a baby. Small things to start for me and then upping the weights- heavy weights while mixing in some cardio.
Alcohol is a great way to cut out calories fast lol.. I have yet to give up my evening wine after having to avoid it for so long😊
I really like the youtube channel Abbey's kitchen for debunking alot of diet culture and how to eat better/make better choices for food.
Best wishes on your journey, I'll be there in spirit too!

God, during pandemic I gained like 60 pounds from depression and being so lazy/eating bad foods, made it up to 267
Now 6 months later I’m at 235… can anyone tell me if this average or not enough? I work out almost every day

Why does your weight have Bluetooth??

Smart scale probably connects to an app on their phone that can give more detailed info beyond weight (like BMI, muscle, protein, body fat, body water, etc)

why is there even a Bluetooth option on the damn weighing machine?

u/reallybadatusernames 15d ago
It’s a smart scale connected to an App, it measures BMI, body fat %, muscle mass, etc! I’m sure it’s not 100% accurate but it’s nice data to see /have.

I got one recently on Amazon that does this, though not Bluetooth. It's really encouraging if you're weigh lifting and you don't see the weight coming off as a number. You can see the fat% going down and muscle going up wgich is a great positive. (Besides clothes fitting better)
