I was pregnant and hormonal when my son was 3. His dad and I got into it over something and I went to our room to cry. Dad was mad and punched my chair. My son gets in front of him and says "you leave my mom's chair alone!".

Except he was not a mini tank and did not frighten his dad at all. He's still good to me many decades later.

My kid did something like that once too - my dad was being a jackass, and the kid got between me and him and said “Don’t be mean to my mommy!”

Reportedly, I did something similar though definitely not as courageous as your kid. I guess I didn’t like the tone my dad was taking with my mom and told him to shut up when I was about 7.

Maybe it made them smile because the baby was defending it’s mother. Damn y’all 🙄

“Get away from my mom you aliens!!”

Yeah, that's my take. That's a good rhino calf.

Really annoying, and dangerous, for the scientists, but cute behavior from the calf.

Even though they probably used a smaller dose to tranquilize the calf, still nuts the baby got up before the mom

ehhh she was probably hurt too nvm

Back in the day when i was pretty young, my mom was dating this major asshole who was lowkey abusive, one night he knocked on our door asking to come in and talk to her since they had an argument earlier in the day, she told him "no we will talk later, i have to get my kid to bed" but he still refused to leave and when she went to shut the door and go inside he put his foot in the door to stop it from closing and tried pushing past her to get in the door, and thats when young me with a pocket knife walked down the stairs with it flipped out and told him to leave my mom alone, and he left. Kids really dont play about their mothers at any age

Made you smile? Well that’ll change when you realize that they tranquilized them to avoid this exact situation in an attempt to save the mother’s life...

We need more context. The Rhino doesn’t have a horn either. That could contribute to what the researchers were doing which I can’t say because I don’t know what they’re doing. But I believe too that they were trying to help

Save it's life? Where did you come up with that?...prob just be tagging both of them.. Since they are researchers after all.
