Fun fact: despite being in MCC since MCC8, the only player TapL has teamed with more than once is with Puffy. In MCC8, MCC11, and MCC14. all of those teams were cyan and 3 MCCs apart

I meant up to MCC15 so yeah it will break. He will also team with Shubble for the second time now (first in MCC9)

I think it’s less about teaming with a small amount of people and more about teaming within a certain group. Of course there are other factors such as a lot of them being exclusively not PG or exclusively competitive.

Didn't ever think of that, I imagine someone like Tommy has a smaller pool of people that he can team with cause he isn't PG. I just feel like all the Dream SMP members team with a lot more diverse group of people than everyone thinks

Well yes they have, personally I'd argue that there part of the reason MCC became so big, they get so many viewers.

But they also team with quite a variety of people sometimes, I mean Tommy has teamed with people really out of his friend group like Joey Gracefa

But then we have an entire dream smp this MCC, just like we did last time (If Michael is dream smp? I'm not sure). I have no problem with them being in the event, but it sometimes feels like they have priority over say the hermits, and potentially over the wait list too which is kinda unfair. MCC should be about finding new creators and we can't do that if there's constantly the same ones/ people already in the same group. I get they want to team with friends, but then they can do it in duos, like in MCCP pink parrots where you had Wilbur and Techno who knew each other and Solidarity and Grian who knew each other.

Not disagreeing with what you're saying, but I'm pretty sure the Simmers are the ones that had priority over the Hermits; every time they've returned recently we've only had 2 hermits as opposed to the normal 3-4, and it makes sense as they're both a lot more chill and a lot less competitive than the average MCC player imo.

Yeah, but the simmers are only in every 3 events so it balances whereas we have at least one fully/ nearly fully dsmp team each mcc. Though that is true I guess. I think its just because MCC is getting so big which is both good and bad.

If MCC is all about showcasing smaller creators than it needs the bigger creators so that they are shown to as many people as possible.

For example MCC4 had Wilbur, Tommy, Techno and Phil on the same team, has nearly 1.6 millions views on the vod. Personally it was the first MCC I watched, and I wouldn't of it wasn't for that team. Yet I was introduced to a lot of content creators, such as Michealmcchill and RTGame, who I had never seen before, but like watching today. There will be people who do this every MCC, who watch it for the first time cause they see a team with lots of there favourite creators and learn about other creators because of it.

I'm not saying we don't need the big creators, and I know i definitely enjoy watching them. What I'm saying is it would be more fun to see them teaming with different people sometimes instead of the same 5-6 people.

Oh I know, im super excited to see both Green guardians and pink parrots to see dream and Sapnap teaming with different people. Especially excited to see how the Dream and Seepeakay combo plays out, and thats what i like about the event. Seeing how different players work together even if they don't know each other that well.
