Hearing voices in my head, what the hell?

How is hearing voices in your head, any different then praying to God?

You're only going to get an answer, in your head or in your heart, if you believe your heart has ears. If it's in your head, it's called faith.

I have faith in myself, and in the many voices/emotions that answer my questions everyday, and that actually show me more support than the voices around me. Plus they guide me, encourage me, and make me laugh.

Answers welcomed, as are upvote/downvote. Either way, my voice will just laugh at you.

Thanks, with all my voices/emotions. Including sarcasm.

An inner monologue is different than what we consider "hearing voices" which tends to be perceived as more intrusive and the voices are not necessarily the owners own voice. Definitely ask for an expert opinion if you are concerned.

Voices in your head aren’t necessarily bad. The ones in mine tell me when the things I see aren’t really there.

Thanks, you can't believe how much that means to me. Seeing a new doctor, can't wait to tell him I'm off my meds and all my true friends are with me, I'll never be lonely again.

Again thanks, even anger is pissed you're right.

The voices are all you and so is anything you get when you pray. Faith does not make things real or ignore science. The voices in your head are and always have been your thoughts. Stop bringing fantasy into this. BTW, your voice is lying to you, because the lies are more comfortable than the truth.
