If the majority of pollution is coming from 100 companies, why are they not named specifically?

They are almost all energy companies.
The pollution is generated through consumption. We're all responsible for consumption.
As Dieter Helms (Britain's foremost climate economist) says, we have to curb our individual addiction to consumption.
The energy used is a direct consequence of people (me, you, everyone) using it and buying things that use it.

I mean you can google the names if you want, the top companies are just oil and coal companies from differerent countries.

Here you go.
The problem is that these 100 companies are all energy companies. And, as you might imagine, nearly everything you consume requires energy.
