Jersey ad patches.

Unanimously approved by owners.

Huge new TV deal, being paid back 1B by the players and holding the salary cap hostage and were still getting ads on jerseys.

Cant do anything else except vote with my wallet.

Definitely boycotting whichever company advertises on the jerseys.

Only because the stripes are broken up to make way for the ads. When you watch World Cup or euros you don’t miss the ads. Messi’s first years in Barcelona they didn’t wear main sponsors on the sweater and it looked great, you’ve just been conditioned to see them because they have been around for over 40 years now.

Barcelona was one of the last to adopt a main sponsor, and when they did it was UNICEF (a non profit). Eventually they went with a paid sponsor but not until after Messi blowed up
