Trailer is here. Looking good.
It’s not the fact that people get mad at you, or the fact that like every hero is designed to purposefully kill you, or that it’s so frustrating all the time to depend on your team…
It is so thankless. I feel that it is just so unrewarding.
There are games where I heal an insane amount, I am so incredibly proud of myself, and either no one acknowledges it or someone still says “heals??”
When you play dps or tank and get a lot of damage or elims, people say something. You get a bunch of healing and it’s very rare you really get any response at all.
You can hit literally all your shots on Ana and hit crazy sleep darts, but the Genji who’s over extending is so quick to complain about how he’s “getting no healing”.
Pulling off risky rezzes for the person to not even use the thank you line, no one noticing great sleep darts on enemy ults, doing insane amounts of damage AND healing only to be told to “stop dps-ing”… The list goes on.
A dps can press E and get more recognition than spending the whole game busting your back to heal and support.
Not to mention EVERYTHING is your fault. Someone died from over extending? Why weren’t you with them? Someone dies while you’re dead? Clearly your fault. Cant heal through walls? Skill issue obviously.
And obviously this isn’t always the case. Sometimes a tank will look out for you or a dps will protect you. Sometimes people are nice and thank you or acknowledge a good game. I love playing support. I don’t have a lot of fun with other roles. However, man does it feel tiring and very unrewarding sometimes.
Enjoy this lovely picture
News & Discussion Tank and DPS mains, who is your personal favorite support to back you up based off your main and why?
News & Discussion Remember when we could endorse players for specific reasons? (Shot Caller, Friendly, ECT...)
I think this was so much more useful as you can tell why others liked playing with the player. If they are friendly, skilled, or communicate well.
Why did they take that away?
News & Discussion Really curious to know what all of the new F2P players thought about Season 1 and its progression?
Recently I've been playing support and I'd say I've logged bout 50 hours on support in comp now.
Every fucking game I felt so damn helpless. Watching your rein charge into the enemy team (reins are definitely the most annoying from what I've seen) just to say "healers are a joke" and come into the voice channel to scream slurs at me or watching a dva fly into the nano boosted zarya and tell me it's my fault for his bad play. I really do understand why supports are the angriest crowd, I've never felt more rage than playing support in overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 is so heavily relient on having a stack, 1 bad dps or tank and it's wraps immediately. Atleast in overwatch 1 if you had a bad tank or dps there was another tank to compensate. 5v5 heavily punishes solo queuers and support mains.
I don't understand why Hollywood, a fan favorite map for some and Watchpoint of all maps get taken out. Like take out some other map like maybe a push map...
Instakilling the pesky Tracer/Lucio that's harrasing me with Reinhards ultimate will never not be hilarious to me
