Best place in Metro Manila to get a PC build from? Discussion

Best in terms of build service, pricing, and after sales (warranty/replacements). If you have experience with any, would love to hear your thoughts. Better if closer to Makati.

Hoping to have a PC built for light gaming and a bit of 3D rendering (and maybe even streaming?) — parts rec also welcome huhu already asked a couple of pages but I’m getting mixed recs :( I’m already keen on the R5 5600X, 16gb ram, NZXT Elite and the Z63 (I know lol) for the aesthetics. Not sure if it’s worth stretching my budget for a 3060 given current market prices though. Thoughts?

Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

Second this! Sobrang beneficial ng higher end cards kasi hindi siya ganun kaffected ng pagtaas ng presyo unlike the midrange ones. LinusTech even released a benchmark and statement na higher end cards will be less detoriated and mining gpu's na second hand are worth it bilhin if you're really desperate for a cheaper gpu

Thank you both for sharing your insights! I’m coming from an Apple ecosystem so I don’t really know much about anything PC, so my knowledge re: GPUs is close to null.

I’m seeing so many different kinds of 3060 cards though — does brand matter? 2x or 3x fans? I’ve had people tell me it’s up to preference but I don’t really know enough about it to have one? Any tips?

2x fan card should run a bit hotter than the 3x fan versions of the GPU. Plus 3x fan version are usually more expensive since more material is used. Cooling should a priority especially since the case you pick is a hotbox so if possible get a 3x fan version.

Asus Cards on the Nvidia side are really good this generation especially their TUF and ROG lineup. MSI’s Gaming lineup is also pretty good. Though in my opinion any 3060 is great in this climate lmao /s.

Ah that makes a lot of sense. I plan to eventually get a modded front panel for the case to help with temps. Really helpful recs thanks so much!
