I'm all for LeBron anr Kaep using their platforms to raise awareness on these issues but Lebron's comments on the Ma'Khia Bryant shooting were pretty concerning. He has such a widespread outreach but needs to take into account the responsibility that comes along with that. Clearly if a role model such as LeBron can make a misinformed emotion based mistake then I'm willing to bet many American citizens were directly influenced by Lebron's social media posts. This also led to an increase in the protesting and looting that occurred in cities across the USA related to the April shooting and BLM movement.
As for Kaep, he straight up got boned but there's something to be said about his decline and how much of his success was due to how good the niners were on defense those years. His story and impact on the society wiill forever transcend his play on the field.
His decline had nothing to do with why he was blackballed from the nfl though, it was his protesting. The nfl admitted as much last year. Point is that the same people bashing Fauci and screaming for their rights to spread a deadly disease bashed Kaep for speaking out about racism towards blacks.

What gets me in this isn’t her dumb speech, it’s the applause she gets after making the dumb speech
