[NYC] Job is still closed due to COVID. Landlords refuse to approve me for an apartment, despite having a good credit score, collecting enough unemployment to pay rent, and having a qualified guarantor. What else can I do?

The problem is no job, when open jobs exceed people on unemployment. It’s not personal, but literally you can walk into some jobs these days on the spot. It might not be the job you want, but it’s not a lack of jobs.

This is going to impact people for the next 12-24 months and those that didn’t pay rent during the pandemic will be the worst impacted.
