Renting a house that’s for sale and it’s a nightmare
It feels like all of our privacy is gone.
One lady put in an offer and now rides around the area on her bike. She’ll demand to come in to look at x or y thing, and if we say we aren’t home she’ll come by to inspect the outside anyway. She even stops our neighbors to talk to them around our front door.
Then there are the realtors. Some ask to show the place with 2-5 hours notice. If we can’t oblige, a percentage become rude. A few have also showed up quite late and never apologized.
Should we just move out of here? Or complain to the HOA? Not sure what to do anymore. I’m scheduling showings left and right for a property I’m not even responsible for selling. The HOA never told me it was up for sale either, they just sent out my phone number.

The HOA will just laugh at you. Don’t waste your time.
