Thing is we ended up hanging out later that night anyway. Her friend threw ice cream cone at me, and then she poked a hole in the top of her water bottle to help clean it out of my hair and stuff. And then I gave her my number anyway on a postcard I had bought earlier. I didn't have anything else to write on so it's either that or do that awkward thing where you both have your phones out and you say blah blah blah are you ready and then you say your number and then you correct her when she says it back and then whatever.
Anyway the point is we hung out later that night took a walk on a beach went back to alligator Jack's. Had dinner we talked some more over food and then we went back to the beach just to see the sunset. And her friend kept texting her over and over to see how the date was and she let me respond on her phone as if it was her.
Oh no mine is that initial event we had fun. Stayed in contact for like six or eight months after I went back home. Now it's more of like a happy birthday message to each other and a Merry Christmas sort of thing. She's married with two kids now same here. Her friend on the other hand moved to Germany and is a marketing consultant for some cheese company there. She's single.
